This past week has been one that I wouldn't relive for less than $8.50. I know that you have had weeks like that too. Some people do not have the same sense of humor that I do which is unfortunate. I got into a bit of trouble over a very articulate and well crafted note that was meant to insult people that were too stupid to understand what I was saying. It was rather funny to me because the underlying message was lost because the satire was too well thought out.
The problems in American culture are as a direct result of political correctness and the push no for diversity and inclusion. Hey, here is some diverse thinking for you ....suck it up and tough it out. Quit trying to soften us up damn it. Give me the truth and nothing but and if you don't know what it is then look me in the eye and say I don't know. Nothing is done on merit anymore. We quit keeping score at our childs sporting events. Why? Because your kid or my kid sucks and should be basket weaving rather than picking weeds or swatting flies in the outfield and we just don't have the nuts to admit it. You know why nerds are nerds? They were meant to be that way. We need to level the playing field so that everyone has a chance is a bunch of crap. I say we put the mines back in the playing field just like they were when I played. If I sucked I sucked if I was good then I was good. My mom never fished around for the right words to say she just told me the truth whether it broke my little heart or not. I grew up to be a rebel not because my mom was a real hardass, but because I had friends who had hippie parents that weren't so constricting and I thought that was cool.
What is funny is that I was always forced to pay the consequences of my actions whether I really liked it or not. Things weren't always low key and everything was talked through like normal human beings would, but I learned how to think about someone other than myself, to take people on their own merit, and not to judge that which shouldn't be judged and to judge what should.
Grow up, shut up, and start making this country strong again.
