Okay Thursday, or what are we supposed to call it?

Here is where you lose me. This is exactly the point where my head no longer seems to be attached to reality. Tomorrow is Good Friday, but what was today? Now, I know that Good Friday kind of sounds like a misnomer. I mean what is so good about crucifixion? It doesn't even rank in my Top 100 ways I wouldn't mind dying. I think getting eaten by a bear is just above that. I know what you are thinking out loud, but secretly you have a list in your head too. It may not have a 100 ways, but it is still a list. Anyway, I got off on a tangent there. What I was talking about was Good Friday and what that means to all of those in the Christian faith. I can see where it would be good considering the results, but what would they call it if not for Ressurection Sunday? Should we call Don McLean in on this one? Okay remember the song American Pie or as some of you may now it as Bye, Bye Miss American Pie or any other combination of the chorus because you are too lazy to figure out what the actual title is (there is another blog subject for another time).

I am going to start calling Saturday, Eager Anticipation Saturday. I know that this is Passover or something, but I think I named it appropriately. I am pretty sure that there was a line on Jesus' ressurection. I can only imagine what the odds where. I am sure someone lost their robe over that one. Hey, I think this guy might be sacreligious or something.

I am still at a loss as to how a bunny got involved in the celebration of Easter. Especially a bunny that hides eggs. I mean really, what is wrong with that story? I believed it as a kid, which show you how inquisitive I really was. Why does the bunny hide eggs mom? Because I will smack you if you ask another stupid question like that. What? I don't ask stupid questions anymore. I have beat the subject with a stick and now as it lies bleeding uncontrollably I move on.

I say that we make Monday, the Thank God I am No Longer Buzzing From All the Sugar Monday. I am not sure if that title is too long or not. What about Sugar Hangover Monday? I think this one will work better Who's Jesus?Monday. What about 364 days til I have to go back to church Monday. I am done now I hope to move on to the more obvious Holidays you know Cinco de Mayo. The Cinco of May. I know it is the 5th it's been the 5th for a long time. Hey, maybe I will see you on Cinco de Mayo with my favorite recipe. The recipe for disaster. Have a great Good Friday!!
